I learned about this, when I am searching for some friends I lost communications with.
It touches my imagination and hopefully it will serve some purposes in my mind.

Inicbulan is situated in northern part of the Municipality of Bauan, Batangas. A Marian community with more than 95% devout Roman Catholic and the home for almost all kinds of professions, from religious to IT, such as PRIEST (Rev. Fr. Eleuterio "Eyong" Castillo Ramos), NUN (Sr. Merna Castillo Virtucio, FDCC), LAWYERS, DOCTORS (with special citation to Nicomedes Dimalibot, our class valedictorian in Inicbulan Elementary School), ARCHITECTS (like Rey Anthony I. Castillo a graduate from Adamson University), ENGINEERS, TEACHERS, PILOTS, CPAs, MILITARYMEN, COMPUTER TECHNICIANS AND PROGRAMMERS, not to mention the albularyos (Quack Doctors) and hilots (Community Midwife) including circumcisers (the late Ponciano Abante made me chew the guava leaves for this rite). This community serves also the haven of glory and pride for once in its history lived mayors like the late Romeo C. Ani and Nemesio E. Marasigan (the son of the philanthropist the late NICANOR MARASIGAN), vice mayors and town councilors. Two national presidents visited this community Carlos P. Garcia and Diosdado Macapagal.
Ten years before I was born, OUR LADY OF THE MIRACULOUS MEDAL arrived here and crowned to be our Patroness, Tuklong (small chapel) was built for her and since then the community seeks intercession and guidance from her. With efforts and generosity of the whole community living here and abroad the concrete chapel was erected and dedicated to GOD thru Mary. Mass is being celebrated every Saturday night. This year 2007 we will be celebrating the Golden Jubilee in her honor.
